Women’s Health and Wellbeing Program

in 2023, the Allan Labor Government committed $157 million towards transforming the way women’s health is treated in Victoria.

With this investment, we have:

• Opened 15 new Women’s Health Clinics, with 5 more on the way. One of these clinics is a dedicated girls and adolescence clinic based at the Royal Children’s Hospital to make sure girls and young people have access to early intervention.

• Opened 11 new Sexual and Reproductive Health Hubs, bringing the network of hubs to 20.

• Opened a dedicated Aboriginal Women’s Health Clinic

• Established a Mobile women’s health clinic to visit women and communities in regional and rural Victoria

• Partnered with EACH to establish a Virtual Women’s Health Clinic

• Invested in the groundwork to establish and Women’s Health Research Initiative

• Funded Women’s Health and Wellbeing Peer support groups, so women don’t have to go through health issues alone.
