The Allan Labor Government is now one step closer to expanding access to free mental health and wellbeing support close to home without needing a GP referral or Medicare card.

Following the recent announcement of seven new Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals across Victoria, Mental Health Minister Ingrid Stitt today announced the lead service providers that will deliver these services:

The Allan Labor Government will make working from home a right – because it works for families.
Under this proposed law, if you can reasonably do your job from home, you will have the right to do so for at least two days a week – public sector or private sector.

For decades, medical research has omitted women from studies – this inequality is contributing to a lack of attention into women’s health issues.

Now, the Allan Labor Government is bridging this gap, with the $1.5 million Women’s Health Research Catalyst Grants program helping to advance the understanding of how disease and other health issues affect women.
