SUPPORTING DAREBIN CREEK AND MERRI CREEK
A re-elected Carroll Labor Government will invest $300,000 to support the Darebin Creek and Merri Creek Management Committees.
This funding will support the local volunteers who roll up their sleeves and protect these waterways for future generations.
The waterways are home to precious wildlife, from our beloved platypus to countless birds, frogs and insects.
They are also special places to connect with nature, get outdoors and support our mental health and wellbeing.
Labor knows local volunteers do incredible work caring for our environment.
That’s why Labor is backing them in.
The alternative is a Liberal-One Nation coalition promising $40 billion in cuts.
